Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the website, courses, training programs, Instructor Academy, digital resources, consultations, registrations, and other services provided by the Center for Health Educators and Safety Specialists, LLC (“CTR4HESS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By accessing our website, submitting a registration or application, purchasing a service, enrolling in training, or otherwise using our services, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, you should not purchase or use the applicable services.

Training and Educational Services

CTR4HESS provides professional education and training services that may include CPR/AED, First Aid, Basic Life Support, advanced resuscitation programs, Bloodborne Pathogens, emergency preparedness, workplace safety, medication-related education, instructor development, continuing education, and other health and safety programs.

Specific course content, prerequisites, completion requirements, certifications, credentials, duration, and renewal periods may vary by course and credentialing organization.

Registration and Payment

Registration is not considered complete until all required registration information and applicable payment have been received.

Unless otherwise stated in a written agreement:

Payment is due according to the terms presented during registration or invoicing.
Prices may change without notice before purchase.
Previously completed purchases will not be retroactively adjusted because of later promotions.
Promotional offers cannot be combined unless expressly authorized.
Deposits identified as non-refundable are non-refundable to the extent permitted by law.
CTR4HESS may decline or cancel a registration when payment cannot be verified or fraudulent or unauthorized activity is suspected.

Course Attendance

Participants are responsible for arriving on time and completing all required portions of a course.

Late arrival, early departure, failure to attend required sessions, incomplete prerequisites, failure to demonstrate required skills, or failure to complete required assessments may result in the participant being ineligible for certification or course completion.

No certification or credential is guaranteed solely because tuition was paid or a participant attended training.

Certification and Credentialing

Certification is dependent upon successful completion of all requirements established by the applicable credentialing organization and/or CTR4HESS.

Where courses are provided under programs administered by third-party credentialing organizations, those organizations may establish or modify prerequisites, course standards, examinations, skills requirements, monitoring requirements, credentialing procedures, fees, and renewal requirements.

CTR4HESS does not control third-party credentialing decisions and cannot guarantee issuance, continuation, or renewal of a third-party credential.

Instructor Academy

Enrollment in the CTR4HESS Instructor Academy does not automatically result in instructor credentialing.

Instructor candidates may be required to complete, as applicable:

Required prerequisite coursework
Instructor-development coursework
Required attendance
Skills demonstration
Teaching evaluation
Instructor monitoring
Required documentation
Affiliation requirements
Credentialing-organization requirements
Additional remediation or monitoring

CTR4HESS reserves the right to require additional coaching, remediation, documentation, or monitoring when appropriate or required by the applicable program.

Completion of an Instructor Academy program does not guarantee employment, independent-contractor opportunities, business income, clients, contracts, or financial results.

Business-development information provided through the Instructor Academy is educational and does not constitute legal, accounting, tax, investment, or financial advice.

Cancellation, Rescheduling and Refunds

Course-specific cancellation and refund terms displayed during registration apply to that transaction.

CTR4HESS reserves instructors, facilities, equipment, certification materials, and other resources in anticipation of scheduled training.

If CTR4HESS must cancel a course, participants may be offered a transfer to another available date or other remedy consistent with the applicable registration terms and law.

CTR4HESS is not responsible for a participant’s incidental expenses such as travel, lodging, parking, lost wages, childcare, or transportation unless expressly agreed in writing.

Corporate and Organizational Training

Organizational engagements may be governed by a separate proposal, Statement of Work, contract, invoice, or service agreement.

Where those written terms conflict with these general website Terms, the signed organizational agreement controls with respect to that engagement.

Clients remain responsible for workplace-specific regulatory compliance, Emergency Action Plans, Exposure Control Plans, workplace policies, equipment, employee assignments, site conditions, and other employer obligations.

CTR4HESS training does not constitute certification that an employer or workplace complies with OSHA or any other regulatory requirement unless expressly authorized by the applicable governmental authority.

Continuing Education

Continuing-education credit is issued only when the course has been designated as eligible and the participant satisfies all applicable requirements.

Participants are responsible for determining whether a licensing board, employer, professional organization, or other authority will accept particular continuing-education credit.

CTR4HESS does not guarantee acceptance by an organization outside the authority under which the applicable continuing education was issued.

Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, CTR4HESS owns or has permission to use the website content, course materials, graphics, videos, forms, proprietary tools, worksheets, handouts, presentations, training systems, and branded resources it provides.

Materials are provided for the registered participant’s authorized use.

Users may not reproduce, resell, distribute, publish, upload, commercially exploit, modify, or create unauthorized derivative training products from protected CTR4HESS materials without written permission.

Third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners.

Photography and Media

CTR4HESS will obtain appropriate authorization before using identifiable participant images or testimonials for promotional purposes where consent is required.

Participation in a course does not, by itself, grant CTR4HESS unrestricted permission to use a participant’s likeness for advertising.

Website Use

Users may not attempt to:

Gain unauthorized access to the website or CRM
Interfere with website operation
Introduce malicious software
Misrepresent identity
Submit fraudulent information
Scrape or commercially reproduce protected content
Use CTR4HESS intellectual property without authorization

Third-Party Services

CTR4HESS does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

CTR4HESS may use third-party services for payments, scheduling, CRM, communications, course administration, credentialing, analytics, and other business operations.

CTR4HESS is not responsible for independent third-party services outside its reasonable control.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CTR4HESS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from use of its website or educational services.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
