This Privacy Policy explains how CTR4HESS may collect, use, maintain, disclose, and protect personal information.

Information We May Collect

Depending upon how you interact with CTR4HESS, we may collect:

Identity and Contact Information: name, email address, telephone number, mailing address, organization, job title, and related contact information.
Training Information: courses selected, registration history, attendance, completion status, certification information, credential expiration dates, assessment results, and training preferences.
Instructor Candidate Information: professional background, current certifications, prerequisites, application responses, instructor pathway, monitoring status, teaching evaluations, and credentialing-related documentation.
Organizational Information: company name, workforce size, requested training, training locations, requested dates, safety-training needs, proposal information, and organizational contacts.
Transaction Information: purchases, invoices, payment status, deposits, refunds, and transaction identifiers. Payment-card information may be processed directly by third-party payment processors rather than stored by CTR4HESS.
Technical Information: IP address, device/browser information, pages viewed, referring pages, cookies, analytics information, and advertising attribution data.
Communication Information: emails, SMS messages, inquiries, customer-service communications, form submissions, surveys, testimonials, and feedback.

CRM and Lead Management

When you submit an inquiry, download a resource, request a proposal, schedule a consultation, register for training, or apply to the Instructor Academy, your information may be entered into CTR4HESS’s customer relationship management system.

We may use this information to manage your request, track your customer or candidate journey, provide relevant follow-up, and maintain business records.

Email Communications

CTR4HESS may send transactional messages related to registrations, appointments, payments, certifications, applications, or other services.

We may also send promotional communications as permitted by applicable law.

Recipients may unsubscribe from marketing emails using the unsubscribe method contained in those communications. Transactional or service-related communications may continue when necessary to provide requested services.

The FTC requires commercial email senders to provide accurate sender information, non-deceptive subject lines, a valid postal address and a workable opt-out mechanism, and generally to honor opt-out requests within 10 business days.

SMS/Text Messaging

If you affirmatively provide consent to receive text messages, CTR4HESS may send messages related to inquiries, appointments, registrations, course reminders, instructor programs, and other communications covered by your consent.

Consent to receive marketing text messages is not a condition of purchasing goods or services.

Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for assistance, where supported.

Transactional messages necessary to provide requested services may be handled separately as permitted by law.

CTR4HESS uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of information maintained.

However, no Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

The FTC recommends that businesses collecting website information use appropriate security measures such as TLS encryption and appropriate controls over stored information and access.

Data Retention

CTR4HESS retains information for as long as reasonably necessary for training administration, certification documentation, credentialing requirements, legal and tax obligations, dispute resolution, customer service, and legitimate business purposes.

Certain certification or continuing-education records may be retained for periods required by applicable credentialing or regulatory organizations.

Maryland Privacy Rights

Where the Maryland Online Data Privacy Act applies, eligible Maryland consumers may have rights concerning access to, correction of, deletion of, and obtaining a copy of certain personal data, as well as rights concerning certain sales, targeted advertising, or profiling practices.

Maryland law also prohibits discrimination against eligible consumers for exercising applicable privacy rights.

If CTR4HESS denies an applicable privacy request, information concerning any available appeal process will be provided as required by applicable law.

Children’s Privacy

CTR4HESS’s general website is not intended to collect personal information directly from children under 13 without appropriate authorization.

Certain CTR4HESS educational programs may serve minors. Registration for minors should be completed or authorized by a parent, legal guardian, school, employer, childcare provider, or other authorized adult where appropriate.

Online services directed to children under 13 can trigger additional requirements under COPPA, including specific privacy notices and parental-consent obligations.
